World Series by Renault and Eurosport sign partnership agreement

Broadcast in 59 countries, Eurosport will be showing coverage of all Formula Renault 3.5 Series races. With two hours of broadcasting every weekend and a 26-minute magazine programme on all three World Series by Renault categories, television coverage of the event will be outstanding in 2009. Renault Sport Technologies and Eurosport are proud to announce that they have signed a partnership agreement to broadcast the World Series by Renault on the biggest European-wide sports channel.

The 2009 season will be shown in full on Eurosport, a channel broadcasting in 20 languages and 59 countries, with a total worldwide audience of over 240 million viewers.

All of this year's Formula Renault 3.5 Series races will be shown live or rebroadcast in full in a few instances. This weekend, the two races at Barcelona will be shown live on Saturday, April 18 at 1.45 pm (GMT+2) and Sunday, April 19 at 1pm. A three-minute summary of the World Series by Renault categories will be included in the "Motorsports Weekend" programme, shown on Sunday evenings.

Each racing weekend will be followed by a 26-minute magazine programme taking viewers right to the heart of the World Series by Renault action. This programme will be broadcast for the first time at midnight (GMT+2) on Tuesday, April 21.

The schedule shall be the same for each meeting, offering an unprecedented level of television coverage for the World Series by Renault.
