As most people around Felipe Massa have said, his recovery has been progressing at an amazing speed, so much that the 28 year old Brazilian would like to be back in his Ferrari F60 by the Brazilian GP in late October. Should his doctors approve of physical well being, Massa wants to start off with physical training and then step into karting before returning to a Formula One cockpit.

"I hope that I can be back at the Brazilian Grand Prix for my public, and perhaps even earlier," Massa shared with Brazilian broadcaster 'Globo'.

"If the doctors here in Brazil say it is OK I will first of all get into a kart.I can hardly wait to drive again."

The Ferrari driver also spoke about his health, saying, "I'm still not 100 per cent and my sight in the left eye still isn't 100 per cent. I'm about 85, 90 per cent recovered. There is still a bit to go before I'm back to normal."
