Nelsinho shouldn't have waited a year to blow the whistle - Brundle

Martin Brundle, former Benetton driver and now commentator with the BBC, has given his opinion on Nelson Piquet's involvement in the crashgate scandal. Brundle believes Nelsinho is responsible for his own decisions and that he shouldn't have waited until Renault dumped him to bring out the story.

Martin Brundle said: "Piquet Junior is a man, not a boy - he's responsible for his own decisions; from a drivers perspective, I can't believe he did it (intentionally crash at Singapore), but he shouldn't have waited a year for the team to dump him before blowing the whistle. I can't see any sponsors wanting to be involved with Piquet now, it's sad but it's his own fault."
