Stefan GP plans test and sends equipment to Bahrain

By on

In another step to prove that it's serious about competing in Formula One, the Stefan GP squad is sending equipment to the Bahrain International Circuit. A statement on their site says, ""Stefan Grand Prix...becomes the first team in F1 history who did send a 40 foot container full of equipment to the race in Bahrain without having entry for 2010 season."

The Serbian outfit has also declared that it will test in Portimao, Portugal on 25-28 February 2010, with an official presentation for their S-01 the day before testing gets underway. Stefan GP has already scheduled two drivers for the three day test, and supposedly one of them already has two years of F1 experience.

They have also given more information about their team:

Car: Stefan S-01.

Car is developed by StefanGP and with technical supports from TMG.

Engine: Stefan RG-01.

V8, 2,400 ccm, 18,000 rpm, serviced by TMG.
