Monza to host Italian GP until 2016
During a press conference, the organisers of the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo nazionale di Monza confirmed that the race will be organised at the historic high-speed track until 2016. The new deal ensures that a possible street race in Rome will not be able to have the Italian GP tag
Monza has hosted more Grands Prix than any other circuit and has only missed one appointment on the calender in 1980 since the founding of the Formula One Championship 60 years ago.
