Peter Sauber has renewed a partnership with Emil Frey AG which lasted for many years through an earlier chapter in the Sauber team’s history. The agreement sees the major Swiss automotive group join forces once again with the Hinwil-based racing team in Formula One.

Emil Frey AG will begin its support for the Swiss F1 team with immediate effect as part of an agreement which will run for three years. The Emil Frey AG logo will be displayed on the Sauber race cars from this weekend at the Monaco Grand Prix.

“I’m extremely pleased to be renewing our partnership,” said team owner Peter Sauber. “We worked together with great success for nine years and now we can start up again where we left off.”

By signing up as an official partner of the Formula One team, Emil Frey AG is underlining its commitment to motor sport, where the cars and servicing crews have to meet exacting performance requirements. The two Swiss companies already have a successful tradition of cooperation, Emil Frey AG having been a sponsoring partner of the Sauber Petronas Team from 1997 to 2005.

Both the Formula One team and the automotive group have established themselves as experts in their field through the rigorous application of high quality standards in their day-to-day work.
