Renault willing to increase engine supply

The Renault F1 team is willing and prepared to supply engines to another team for the 2011 season according to Remi Taffin who is the chief of engine operations at their Viry-Châtillon facility. "We certainly have got the capacity to supply more than the two teams we have been doing this year, it's not a big problem for us," was Taffins response to a question from 'autosport'.

Adding, "Obviously we have to produce a few more engines and get some more people to do the job. As far as getting an engine ready and supplying two teams, it's then not a big problem to do so for three or four teams with an extra effort.

Currrently supplying the factory and the Red Bull Racing teams, it is rumored that Williams may acquire French powerplants after only a year with the Cosworth units. Although Taffin has said that "we don't know which teams we will be supplying next year."
