Button tops second Friday practice at Istanbul

Jenson Button kept McLaren ahead at Turkey as he went marginally quicker than the Red Bull drivers. Both of them however suffered technical problems sometime during the session. Hamilton who was quickest in the morning was 4th, ahead of Fernando Alonso.

Towards the end of the session, Mark Webber stopped alongside the track with a probable engine failure. Webber's teammate at Red Bull, Sebastian Vettel also suffered technical problems that halted his progress.

Jarno Trulli endured an even more difficult session as his car was being work on almost all the way through the session.
