The HRT team today announced that test driver Christian Klien is going to replace Sakon Yamamoto for this race, the Singapore Grand Prix. Yamamoto suffers from food poisoning and is thus unable to drive this weekend.

Colin Kolles, Team Principal: "It looks as if Sakon Yamamoto has a food poisoning, and he doesn't feel well. Because of this, Christian Klien will be driving the car this Friday and the rest of the Singapore Grand Prix. I hope Sakon gets well soon and is able to drive at his home Grand Prix in Japan."

The Austrian driver was already driving for the Spanish team in the Friday morning sessions in Barcelona and Valencia. The 27 year old, who came 3rd on the podium in the 2008 Le Mans 24h - LMP1 class, also won the 1.000 km of Spa with Peugeot in 2009. He was also a test driver in 2007 at Honda Racing F1 Team, and in 2008 and 2009 at BMW Sauber F1 Team. He drove his maiden season of F1 with Jaguar Racing 2004 when he was only 21 years old, and then Red Bull Racing for the next two
seasons (2005-2006).
