D'Ambrosio to replace Trulli at Lotus?

As more and more sources are now confirming that Charles Pic will drive for Marussia Virgin Racing next year, chances are that Belgian Jerôme D'Ambrosio will no longer have a seat in Formula One. However, reliable Italian sources now hint at a move to Caterham, the current Team Lotus.

Belgian newspaper 'Het Nieuwsblad' believes that Tony Fernandes is no longer happy with Trulli's performances and commitment, and strangely enough, the newspaper has also received word from an Italian source that Trulli would actually be willing to end his Formula One career. He is however reportedly held back from this due to 'contractual obligations outside of F1'.

D'Ambrosio meanwhile, more and more sure of losing his seat at Marussia Virgin, has not commented on any of these stories, despite Pic publicly saying he will be in the Marussia racing seat in 2012.
