The stewards have decided to hand out fines to Pastor Maldonado and Kamui Kobayashi. Maldonado got his fine for causing an accident with the Sauber of Sergio Pérez. Kamui Kobayashi is fined for causing minor injuries to two men of his pitcrew as he braked too late into the pit area.

As for Williams driver Pastor Maldonado, a fine of €10.000 was handed for causing a collision with Sergio Pérez at 13:22. The steward clearly stood by Pérez view of the events and also decided to reprimand Maldonado in accordance with Article 18.1 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.

Kamui Kobayashi on the other hand was fined €25.000 for not being able to stop where he should at his second pitstop at 14:04 local time.
