Formula One's sole Swiss outfit Sauber is set to turn heads at this weekend's Miami Grand Prix with a striking special livery inspired by Miami’s vibrant art scene.

The Hinwil-based team’s C45 will be transformed into a bold canvas of modern art, dominated by neon green paint that wraps around its curves, creating a sense of depth and excitement.

The outfit explained that the design has been developed in partnership with its title partner Stake. The striking colour scheme evokes the "feeling of freshly applied paint, as if an artist had just completed their masterpiece moments before the car hit the track."

In addition to the electrifying visual identity, Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will be wearing race suits that echo the car’s dynamic modern art theme. The Miami-inspired design will also be featured throughout the team’s garage and on pit stop equipment.

Although this one-off livery is the first initiative of its kind from the Sauber team this season, the team noted that fans can look forward to more surprises and special moments throughout the year.

Speaking of the one-off livery, Sauber's Chief Commercial Officer Stefano Battiston noted: “This livery is more than just a new look – it’s a celebration of Miami’s creative spirit and our commitment to energising the sport for our fans.

"Our objective when developing this livery with Stake was to stand out, not only for our dedication on the track, but also for our boldness and creativity off track. Our team is dedicated to creating memorable moments and engaging experiences, and this Miami special is a perfect example of that.”
