Ferrari working on 2 fronts

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working on two fronts, at Fiorano and Le Castellet. At the Scuderia's home track, Felipe Massa was in action. The Brazilian, at the wheel of a 248 F1, began a development programme on new electronic solutions, concentrating on testing car set-up. Felipe completed a total of 85 laps, (eight on the short version of the track,) the quickest in a time of 57"307.

At Paul Ricard, also at the wheel of a 248 F1, Luca Badoer began three days of testing centred on Bridgestone tyre development. The Scuderia's official test driver covered 150 laps in total, on the 3E-SC layout of the track, setting a quickest time of 58"676.

The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow, as follows: Felipe Massa will continue at Fiorano, while Michael Schumacher will be working at Le Castellet.
