Vasseur targets to "keep the momentum going" at Barcelona

Following two races in which Ferrari ended up at the sharp end of the field with both cars, the Scuderia's team boss Fred Vasseur hopes that the Maranello-based squad will be able to "keep the momentum going."
Ferrari endured a difficult qualifying session at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as both Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were knocked out at the end of the middle segment.
Starting from P11 and P12 on the grid, the two drivers then displayed encouraging race pace to fight their way up the order to finish fourth and sixth on Ferrari's home soil.
Last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix saw Ferrari display eye-catching pace both in qualifying and race trim, which enabled the Monegasque and the British driver to secure a second and fifth place respectively.
On the back of two successful race at Imola and Monaco, Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur has praised the Scuderia for having made inroads in terms of qualifying pace and hopes that the Maranello-based outfit will be able to "keep the momentum going" at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
"With the first third of the season now behind us, it’s time for the Spanish Grand Prix at a track that is very familiar to all drivers and teams. We come to Barcelona off the back of two positive races, while at the last one in Monaco, we also made progress in terms of our qualifying performance.
"Therefore this weekend our goal is to keep the momentum going. The stricter static tests on the flexibility of the front wing come into force at this round and that too is something that will have to be taken into account."
