The ING Renault F1 Team will be at the new RaceSalon exhibition in Ahoy Rotterdam on 17 and 18 August. The following day, the team will put on a spectacular show during Bavaria City Racing in the city centre.

The presence of the F1 reigning world champions is thanks to ING, who announced during the test session in Barcelona today that it will be the main sponsor of RaceSalon. With the participation of the ING Renault F1 Team, ING is offering all Dutch motor sport fans a unique opportunity to see, hear, smell and touch the peak of Formula 1 really close up.

ING Renault Team

RaceSalon and Bavaria City Racing give ING the opportunity to introduce the Netherlands to Formula 1 from close up. Wilbert Lek, ING Bank director in Rotterdam says, "This is a unique opportunity for the Netherlands and Rotterdam to see the world champions in action. I can already see the cars racing over the Willemsbrug." Robert Heilbron, director of Rotterdam Racing, “For us, having the ING Renault F1 Team in Rotterdam is a schoolboy dream come true.” Jolanda Jansen, Ahoy Rotterdam, “We will be putting on a great show, both in the city and at the exhibition. It’s great that we can present a name like this at the first RaceSalon”.

There will be a unique exhibition in Ahoy Rotterdam on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August. RaceSalon is an opportunity to see and experience the very best of the motor sport world. Three exhibition halls in Ahoy Rotterdam, covering no less than 18,000 m2, will be set up as the finest paddock in the Netherlands. A real Valhalla for all motor sport fans. From today, supported by ING.

Bavaria City Racing

For the third time, Rotterdam will be the heart of the biggest public event in the Netherlands, Bavaria City Racing, on Sunday 19 August. Following the successes in 2005 and 2006, the Formula 1 cars will be returning to the port city so that Dutch motor sport fans will again be able to enjoy the squealing tyres and roaring engines.
