During the summer break of the 2025 season, MotoGP has announced its calendar for the 2026 campaign, with Thailand set to kick off racing at the beginning of March.

The 2026 season will see a calendar packed with 22 Grand Prix races spread across five continents. MotoGP will start at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, on March 1 and conclude on Nov. 22 at the Valencia track in Spain.

The calendar includes eight consecutive double weekends and a three-week summer break after the German Grand Prix at Sachsenring.

MotoGP will return to Brazil in 2026 after a 21-year absence. The last time MotoGP was held in Brazil was in 2004 at the Jacarepaguá Circuit in Rio de Janeiro, where it was known as the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix.

The Argentine Grand Prix will not be returning to calendar in 2026, organisers have confirmed in a statement, they hope to return in 2027. The Argentina Grand Prix came back onto the calendar in 2014 at the new Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo venue, having previously been held on and off in Buenos Aires between 1961 and 1999.

However, Dorna has already announced that the Argentine Grand Prix would have a new home starting in the 2027 season. Work is underway to return to the Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez.
