With a normal race it will be possible - Alonso

Although Fernando Alonso's chances to take his third consecutive title at Interlagos have improved after the retirement of Lewis Hamilton today, the Spaniard believes it will still be a very hard nut to crack to take the championship. Alonso needs to win the race in Brazil with Hamilton taking 3rd place to take the title.

After the Chinese Grand Prix, Fernando Alonso said on the retirement of team mate Hamilton: "It was maybe not a miracle, but something similar. It will still be very difficult for the championship. I know that it will not be easy to take the four points off Lewis. I still need something really dramatic if I want to win.

"With a normal race it will be impossible."
