By on

Four races into the season, the BMW Sauber Formula One Team has completed more laps than any other F1 team on the grid. The BMW Sauber's 2008 contender, the F1.08, is proving to be very reliable, as well as being quick.

The BMW Sauber F1 Team has already picked up 35 points from four races in the 2008 Formula One season. The team from Munich and Hinwil is only one point away from equalling the final points tally from the 2006 season. This is a clear indication of the meteoric rise the BMW Sauber F1 Team has made into the group of top Formula One teams over the last 24 months.

However, the world championship points are not the only proof of the team's positive development. The BMW Sauber F1 Team leads the way when it comes to reliability. No car has completed more racing laps in 2008 than the BMW Sauber F1.08.

After four races, Nick Heidfeld and Robert Kubica have completed 463 laps in their cars - that is 2408km. Of these, Robert is responsible for 226, while Nick has completed 237 laps. This means the German has more laps under his belt than all the other 21 Formula One drivers.
