Engine change for Montoya but no penalty

Juan Pablo Montoya, McLaren second driver, has had an engine change, however, he has escaped a ten-spot grid penalty. A problem was detected at the beginning of today's first free practice session. The engine was changed immediatly.

The Columbian had not been out in the car and so he escaped a ten-spot grid penalty. This all happens a week after his team mate, Kimi Raikkonen, was penaltized and had to start 11th on the grid after clocking the best time during the Qualifying session.
