British motoring body respects outcome of vote

The British Motor Sports Association declared that the sport should move on following the vote of confidence which was won by FIA President Max Mosley. The British motoring body said it respected the outcome of the vote.

A statement of the body said: "The Motor Sports Association respects the decision of the FIA General Assembly concerning President Mosley and considers that it is now time to move on and for the sport to pull together.

"The Motor Sports Association looks forward to continuing to work constructively as an important member of the FIA in the future."
