Mosley should use this success to stand down - Jordan

Eddie Jordan has declared that he believes Max Mosley should step down as FIA President even though he won the vote of confidence which was held today in the headquarters of the governing body in Paris.

Eddie Jordan said in an interview with the 'BBC': "My hope is he will think about the damage. This is not a moral issue, it's a practical one. There are a lot of countries where F1 goes and lots of the rulers of those countries don't want to deal with him.

"I hope Max uses this as a success and say 'look, I told you so, but I am standing down'. That's my guess. It might be an optimistic view and that he just wanted to prove to himself that he was still in control and could leave without any pressure. He should see the news, listen to all the comments and then go."
