He's so funny. It's been a bit difficult for him, let's hope the first season's experience will help and those flashes of natural speed turn into regular performances. He does like his food, which is fine :-) Coulthard really dislikes him though, which is quite a strange occurrence. I think he thinks that Yuki doesn't take F1 seriously enough.

Which engine is Max running on fridays? If its still gine nr.1 its passed 6.000 km which is impressive. Maybe time to up the hp of the current race engines a little, they need it against the Merc flybyes on the straight as we saw today.

Double Delight For Honda Power In Turkey #F1 Istanbul Park

A wet Turkish Grand Prix full of jeopardy was brilliantly handled by Red Bull Racing and Scuderia AlphaTauri
as three Honda-powered cars finished in the top six.

Honda Racing F1

It was nice to see both Red Bull Racing Honda drivers on the podium in their special livery race suits. Of course we always want to win, but given how quick Mercedes were all weekend, we got the most out of our package and ended up with a good result. Max drove brilliantly as usual to finish where he started and Checo showed his tyre management skills, overtaking those ahead of him to finish on the podium thanks to a very good performance. This result was very important for the title fight from now to the end of the season.

After a couple of difficult races for Scuderia AlphaTauri, Pierre fought back very well today to finish sixth. Yuki might have also finished in the points if he had not made a small mistake. But in the early stages he kept Lewis behind him for many laps, driving well under pressure from the world champion.
This was originally meant to be the Japanese Grand Prix weekend and so both our teams were very motivated. We hope that our Japanese fans enjoyed seeing Honda powered cars finish with a double podium and three drivers in the top six. It was a very good result. There are now just six races to go, split between the Americas and the Middle East and we will keep pushing to do our best and end the year on a high.

In Milton Keynes Red Bull Advanced Technology is working on a new track car to be the follow-up to Adrian Newey’s Aston Martin Valhalla. The new model will have a Honda power unit and will be part of the future activities that Red Bull plans with Honda outside F1, although Honda is quitting F1 for good.

I remember hearing about this by an honda "insider" on another forums years ago, if I remember correctly there was a lot of lofty goals Honda had with sports/supercars at the time, of course leaving F1 (sort of) looks to have changed that. Was supposed to be a better NSX, and then above NSX ubercar, hydrogen powered super sedan, and more!

No big difference in engine performance today on lap 1 between Mercedes and Honda compared to Silverstone. Has Merc paused their strong lap 1 mode or has Honda upped the power now that they have fewer weekends per engine? Maybe a bit of both, AT was also very good today
Alexf1. Because of set up differences in the aerodynamics you can only really tell on certain tracks which engine is stronger.

We didn't have Spa so at Monza you will get an Idea.
I think we have pretty good picture of the situation now. Since Silverstone it's Mercs championship to lose

We haven't seen enough clean, dry races yet. These tracks were all supposed Mercedes track, but there were wet or filled with drama. Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Sochi, Turkey. Zandvoort was not dominant for RB. Brazil and Mexico May not be, I don't believe the 2021 Honda Engine has a smaller Compressor like it did in prior years. I dare say the Compressor is likely the same size as Mercedes now, and will have a marginal advantage but that's about it. So yeah, Honda has two races to really capitalize on.

After analysis. And my head says Redbull has been the better team, the better car and Max has made less mistakes driving-wise. I have to say congrats to RedBull amd Max. It will take an astromonical amount of luck for Mercedes to win the drivers' chamlionship. I mean like luck of the Gods here.

Max is perfectly in tune with his RedBull and he has no worries over engine use, plus the upcomming tracks favour the car.

We have seen how the car has worked on every single track this year where the Mercedes hasn't. So, I think once Max does his thing and keeps out of trouble he will have done enough to secure his maiden championship.
Aren't you contradicting yourself?

US Grand Prix Race Setup #F1

Alright, alright, alright, Austin! After not coming stateside in 2020, we're saddling up and heading to Texas for the 2021 #USGP.
US Grand Prix Race Setup #F1

There was a podium finish for Max in Austin in 2019, after battling it out with the Ferrari's and Mercedes' to the line. This year, we'll be pushing for another good performance, coming off the back of a double-podium in Turkey. This years Championship remains tight, with a few points either way swaying the lead between Max and Lewis.

A steep uphill turn one requires ample torque for rapid acceleration, with further winding curves and long straights awaiting the drivers. A shining spectacle on the F1 calendar, let's see if Honda power can add to the show as we return to the States.

A special win, as it was Red Bull Racing’s 200th podium and came on the anniversary of Honda’s very first Formula 1 victory on this day back in 1965, when Ritchie Ginther won the Mexican Grand Prix in the Honda RA 272.

It was great to see Yamamoto-san collecting the trophy on the podium and we really appreciate this gesture from Red Bull.
