Ferrari SF21

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Great shot! The cooling duct exit looks to be split horizontally, the upper part having some interaction with the upper wishbones. A lot of cooling outlet this time (extra outlets at the rear of the cockpit too).

Very surprised at how little rake Ferrari is running. Interesting.

It would be interesting to see a comparison between the three car’s rake at low speed (like in pitlane, not in a tight corner) and the same at high speed.

Does it matter? Non-F1 people will be interested in the drivers' twitter posts etc. The fans of the sport will enjoy the technical details. I know which group I'd rather the FIA listened to.

Based on the fact I've seen smoke coming out of it, I assume the outlet above the crash structure is where the excess oil is released from rather than back in to the air box? i.e. as per the regulation change to prevent excess oil burning that is intended to increase engine performance.

The design of the sidepods is strongly reminiscent of the early-mid 2000s Panoz Indy Racing League car

Please don't post in this SF21 topic about F1-75 car, it's a bit inconvenient to navigate on the forum with different branches :) there is another thread for that
