It should be straight simple penalty. I do not understand why it is taking so much time. If it woukd have been haas or alfa by now decision would have been made.this is the bias towards mercedes alobso talks about

More like their is a complicating or contributing factor!

14 cars were checked for DRS tests including Verstappen. All passed except Hamilton.

Toto promised to throw everything this weekend, looks like in hurry he threw something illegal as well.

The championship is the hinge I imagine, a showdown on the last day is worth a lot to Liberty Media

the latest scrutineering document makes not sound like a gap issue. or it's just horrendously worded!

Apart from the uppermost rear wing element adjustable positions of car number 44 (see Document
18), all the above items were found to be in conformity with the 2021 FIA Formula One Technical
Regulations.

Hamilton needs to be disqualified from the qualifying if there is a breach of technical regulations. It should not need to take this long. The wing is either illegal or legal.

It's taking so long because Mercedes and the maFIA are desperately trying to find a loophole to let Lewis still start from P1 in tomorrow's spint.
Yes , maFIA is sold to mercedes but Rules are rules , lets see i suspect they will come up with some excuse.

I see nothing wrong on it. It is a inspection doc hence neutral in language, just telling what is off. In sporting context and rules context it should be considered as voilation.

It mentioned "positions", what was reported earlier was a distance measurement. That's not the same thing!

Footage of scrutineer's check on Hamilton DRS slot gap

I don’t understand why you’d need multiple tries with the ball to determine if it’s in spec. If it passes all the way through, it’s failed surely?
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

It is forbidden to touch a competitor’s car in parc ferme.

A Brazilian journalist has indicated that this footage is now involved.

Albert Fabrega and Medland have also chimed in.

Verstappen touching the RW was a potentially massive mistake on his part.
