I recently read an article about it:siskue2005 wrote: β21 Mar 2022, 15:41Any changes to run offs and barriers like suggested last year?
I think they have made some changes to make it safer.siskue2005 wrote: β21 Mar 2022, 15:41Any changes to run offs and barriers like suggested last year?
I think they might go for a medium-low DF setup like RB did on some tracks on 2014 in a similar situation.
The guys over the Merc thread are saying that because of the smooth surface, they might just be able to lower the car and by doing so they wont have to compensate with too much rear wing like they had to in Bahrain. Power wise the Merc unit seems a bit behind but overall reliable.
I don't think the level of porpoising of the Merc has something to do with the track surface honestly. The car was affected even on quite smooth surface of the track it was just bouncing everywhere.elMaestro wrote: β21 Mar 2022, 16:42The guys over the Merc thread are saying that because of the smooth surface, they might just be able to lower the car and by doing so they wont have to compensate with too much rear wing like they had to in Bahrain.
