Merc, merc, merc, merc.... and some breadcrums for the rest
I'm a fan of the sport. The team doesn't matter to me as long as there is a proper fight.

The fight for this championship fizzled out five races ago. Just midfield squabbles and the frequent Ferrari cock ups are what's left of this cold dinner.
 Not so long ago!

I wish the Mercedes was faster. I want it to dominate again. Today i thought it would be a good step on the way, but I was disappointed. I couldnt really tell if it was truly faster. Max was too close. He was in front in fact and we couldn't overtake him after many attempts. Valterri was also too far back, so far there wasnt even a one-two finish. You know how long its been before Mercedes had a one-two?! Man i miss those days! I was glad that the strategy and the ability of HAM to make it work brought the win though. Max could have won if he didn't burn out his tyres in the opening laps.

It's like Rosberg versus Schumacher or Ocon vs Alonso nothing too thrilling imo. Like an executive of the sport, Lewis deserves his time just crusing untroubled at the top.
There is no inconsistency there.

14 laps on the first stint - granted there was some safety car laps.

Could possibly stick softs back on

Not sure Leclerc could have done anything better. Alonso pitted too early. Should have hung on.

McL is nowhere to be found…. P9 and P13… let’s see whether VET and OCO will make the one stop strategy work! P1 — P5 seems to be pretty set now, bar any DNFs

Hamilton said he couldn't really see Alonso, said he was in his blindspot.

FOM really must implement a camera selector for the onboards. That front wing camera is useless, you can’t see anything regarding how the car behaves. Same for the helmet facing camera which they selected just as Verstappen was about to pass Sainz. Terrible.

Mega kudos for HAM. Admitting it was his fault. Can people on this forum please start talking sense? I cannot believe what I’m reading at times

Max winning from P13 (Yes not P14 because Gasley started from the pitlane) in a dominant car and a lapdog team mate.

Nothing special here.

Oh man that sucks. Ham could've kept his podium streak going :(

He also owned to it, after having watched the footage. Sounded downbeat, but that's racing for ya.
