Nice to know that we finally have someone who can back lando and the team if something goes wrong, rather than screaming fk ‚em all from the back of the grid

We'll have a laugh after qualifying.
Well since you suggested that bring slowest on the straights was aero related, I suspect it is obvious already you were *hurling* yourself at conclusions

🤣🤣🤣
McLaren and in 3 practice the slowest on the straights.
Not bad from the number two driver in the car with the poor aero

And clearly not the slowest car on the straights !

On this occasion you're UnLucky 😁

A couple of tenths from Mercedes, a tenth from Alpine and ahead of both Haas and Alfa Romeo’s… With a car that could be considered “under developed” isn’t bad at all

People in this thread love to overreact. It is a rare mistake from lando but with the amount of safety cars that the race could have, not all is lost
It’s not necessarily that errors can’t happen but the facts that the error he made looked like an F2 or even F3 rookies mistake, not a seasoned f1 driver. Mistakes like Spa I can understand, but this was just at a pure lack of attention, it wasn’t like he was pushing to much, he just boneheadedly drove into something
One of his very few errors over rhe last couple of seasons. Spoiler alert! He'll make more over the course of his career, he's hunan.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

I think you mean a few hundredths or thousands from an 7 time world champion driving a car with the exact same PU.

I've never seen a hunan before. They're good drivers.

Piastri is the real deal - if people think Lando is top tier, then i believe we have two top tier drivers now, although obviously he isnt fully acclimatised yet. He has been super impressive from day one, even if lap times didnt make it obvious

I'm sure he can put a fast lap on, the game is doing consistently lap after lap. But on pure speed this is a very good qualy.

1)The car seems to be performing much better here than Bahrain though I am not sure if the electrical problems in Bahrain caused Qualifying issues also.
2)It was an honest mistake that every driver even Verstappen does. No need to bash Lando.
3)Can't wait to see Fernando Alonso taking pole and the victory as he will make mincemeat out of Perez even though the Red Bull is a faster car but Alonso doesn't need to have the fastest car to win.
4)I am waiting to see if the new floor gives the huge chunk of time they said cause it might bring the team on par with Aston Martin.

Have the team ever said a huge chunk of time?

I dont think so.

If Macca can catch up to Aston, you’d have a amazing fight for P3-8 between Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston, Macca And Alpine

Considering PIA did a 32.35 S1 and a 28.5 for S3, there is another 0.5s in that car

Thats what is exciting about him - his carrier in feeder formula have never been about one lap pace, the guy is a tactician and thinker in the Prost mould
