Three-time world champion Max Verstappen secured his 18th victory of 2023 in Las Vegas, beating Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, whose chances were massively compromised by a safety car period. F1Technical's senior writer Balázs Szabó reports on the Nevada F1 race.
Scintillating race!!! So much criticism, but the race delivered magnificient racing spectacle. Shame Charles couldn't get it, but he made Perez look like an complete stupid. Great race by Max!
Russell was stupid to not understand how to play it and went for bumper cars. He somehow gets carried away thinking he has a dominant car and can beat Max in that Red Bull. Until he gets a car that he can race with, he should play smart and grab as many points. But meh!
Give Charles the car and a semi-decent team and he eats the whole field for breakfast, Master!
I want to see him in the other RB.
He's been the only person to challenge Max in this car regs. In the same car as Max we might actually get to see some kind of championship battles before 2026.....
