Aston Martin AMR24

Even if the rear suspension is the problem (I don't know) they won't blame Mercedes publicly.

They were happy with the Mercedes engine too publicly, negotiating a deal with Honda in the background. Naturally it will be a good step for AMR in 2026 doing everything yourself, not making compromises elsewhere.
They didn't hesitate to say it was part of the problem last year.

Is this new or just a circuit specific thing?

New endplate designs are performance related, not circuit specific. Circuit specific would be like a smaller flap or something

AMR has been using a curved endplate since the start of 2023, most other teams have a straight one (like AMR in 2022).

Looks the same to me, it’s the view from the bottom of the sidepod

Potentially. The lower edge of the green trim seemed curvier in the previous specification. The lower edge of the green trim looks straight here.

Looks the same to me. But it’s only Wednesday. McLaren didn’t put on all new parts until before FP1 iirc

From my information they brought a 2.0 car. New front wing, new sidepods, new floor and probably they gonna play with rear wing sideplates and the beamwings.

Apart from the bracket changes, main plane looks different. It seems narrower

I don’t know much about the tech side. But are they trying to create a vortex with the v shape?
