Crash of Logan Sargeant may just have implications for the American. Nothing decided yet, but clear that Williams team boss James Vowles is looking at options to possibly replace him. Schumacher is definitely on the list and Vowles spoke with Red Bull about Lawson after qualifying.

Was thinking the same thing right after the crash; wonder if they get Lawson. There isn't really any point in running Sergeant other than letting him finish the season.

Mick was more of the same in Haas, I get the Merc connection at the moment but it does not sound like any kind of improvement. Lawson would be the real thing though

Lawson wouldn’t be a bad choice to be fair. RBR family should support that. Gives him 6 months or so experience of F1 racing before he jumps into a RBR car. Free experience for Lawson and red bull family before they consider a move for him in 2025 - potentially
