Pole by half a second?
With Haas, Alpine and other mid field teams impacted by the wing change instead of the top teams, wonder what the FIA will come up with next
They would say more paint and less carbon fiber maybe , hope nothing stops the Mclaren if they have worked hard to make their car fast instead of complaining about others. As Carlos Sainz said he saw how McLaren as a team was rising and he saw it coming, and he sees Williams being similar makes me look forward to his prediction in coming years =D>
If Sainz said he knew that Mclaren dominating was coming, why did he leave? I'll say bullshit that he knew. He just wants to act like he has the strings in his hands and that's why he is driving Williams.
Who would turn down an offer from Ferrari, not even Max would have said no and he would stick to Red Bull if he was asked.

Off topic, does anyone have a fix or workaround for the persistent 503 error? Haven't been able to check pages in days. It's been on and off, so not sure it's fixed now.
I've found that deleting everything in the URL from, and including sid works.

Red Bull, Mercedes, Aston Martin and McLaren let off by the FIA:

— Four top teams exceeded curfew hours between Wednesday and Thursday but were not penalized due to exceptional logistical delays.

— The FIA initially reported that Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, and Aston Martin had breached curfew, suggesting they would lose one of their four seasonal jokers.

— Later, the FIA reversed its stance, citing shipment delays from Australia to China as valid justification for the extra working hours.

— As a result, all four teams were allowed to retain their jokers and avoid any formal warnings or penalties.

Meanwhile, Two teams forced to adjust rear wing after FIA rule change:

— Alpine confirmed it had to modify its rear wing after the FIA introduced stricter rules limiting rear wing flex linked to the ‘mini-DRS’ concept.

— The team’s previous configuration failed to meet new deflection standards, prompting adjustments ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.

— Haas was also impacted and had to reinforce its rear wing to pass the updated compliance tests issued by the FIA.

— Amid suspicions about McLaren and Mercedes, Lando Norris clarified his team was unaffected by the changes.
“McLaren did not need to adjust anything.”

And results after FP1. =D>

The top 10 sector times and ideal lap times from Free Practice 1 at the 2025. So at least -0.3 for Lando if he puts it together. Track record is 1:31:095, Vettel in 2018. And this is only FP1.

Yes. Try to refresh and then move to where you want to ho to the page.
Thanks,
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Refreshing the page usually works for me.

Of course it would have been hard to turn down Ferrari, but I don't buy it "I saw Mclaren's dominating comig" but still left. Easy to say afterwards.

Norris is struggling to get the nose to turn in at the pace he was trying to push at.

Might just be overdoing it on the meds.

Looks like it. Cooldown and another run sees him through. Phew, not a setup issue.

What a shame… with the fastest car we are only in the second and third row..

The car is fast but seems edgy. It's a sprint setup though.

Feels like this setup is not treating the fronts too well and we couldn't get the second fast lap pace.

We should still be on for 1-2 in the sprint but the team really needs to work on execution when it counts
