This is being said by someone with no credibility:
The sprint race weekend in Miami does not offer any opportunities to introduce major update packages. Most teams will simply adapt the cars to the characteristics of the circuit, although Red Bull is reportedly bringing a new floor. It fits within the development plan of the team of Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda, after which the biggest update will follow in Imola.

it was already rumoured by better sources that they may bring Imola package to Miami if it's ready

One of the Autoracer journalists wrote on Twitter in a now-deleted tweet that parts of the Imola upgrade may appear in Miami : "Red Bull has two deadlines in a few weeks: Imola (possibly Miami), where it will debut the first update package"

I copied this directly from the translation of a tweet by Autoracer employee on twitter but I can't find it now. edit: it's now deleted

Additionally it makes more sense for rushing upgrades to be possible now because they can bring it to just 1 car (max) this year. In 2023 and 2024 red bull didn't bring a single upgrade to checo's car later than Max's - it's never been confirmed directly publicly but it's obvious that checo's first contract extension with red bull prevented the 2nd driver from receiving upgrades later. That stipulation has almost certainly been done away with now that it's a red bull junior in 2nd seat

We'll get more definitive news about Miami upgrades soon (most likely tomorrow) from better sources than filsetti (van Haren, Autoracer)

That Perez clause if true, would be far from ideal. One of the best ways they have to fix (or improve) correlation issues is run simultaneously with different parts on both cars.

They could run different parts on both cars within one session just not bring upgrades to one car on different events like they did in '21 and '22

If Red Bull bring a floor in Miami and then bring a bigger upgrade at Imola.... wonder what's the bigger upgrade going to be. I'm going to assume that they'd have new brake ducts (didn't they work on it at Imola 22 as well?), and potentially a TD compliant front-wing?

In any case, whether there's a championship fight or not shall be decided in 3 races time. 2025 gives us a good closure very soon.

I don't see what the "big update" in Imola is supposed to be if the floor is coming to Miami already, and as previously mentioned there were other smaller bits coming to Miami too. Maybe they've just pushed the entire thing one race earlier for Max's car. Still, risky given the sprint format and their general tardiness when it comes to finding good set-ups/correlation.

I think original plan was small steps for Saudi, Miami then bigger aero package (ie floor) for imola. If floor comes this weekend (rushed forwards) then like you suggest, then we shouldn't expect a lot more from Imola package. McL inspired brake ducts will debut at miami or imola don't know which

From the Autoracer article today
Pierre Waché's men are working hard to improve the single-seater and offer Verstappen a better package and after some corrections brought to the track in Jeddah, others will arrive in Miami, in addition to a more important package in Imola. A large part of the hopes is then placed in Barcelona and in the introduction of a technical directive that will impact the much talked about phenomenon of flexible wings, a very delicate topic in Milton Keynes.
[Marko] made it known that, as often happens in F1, his protégé’s contract included performance-related clauses that would allow him to free himself from this agreement. However, Max Verstappen has not yet used this clause , which would allow him to sign for another team in the second part of the current season, and he does not seem to be willing to do so if Red Bull shows that they can improve the RB21 between now and the summer break. It is important to underline that the Dutch driver had already given his word to Christian Horner that he wanted to stay at least until the end of next year , barring any performances considered indecent by the RB21. It is no coincidence that all the Red Bull men, including Marko, continue with the mantra “we must improve the RB21” , clearly without losing focus on 2026, but with the obligation to make important steps forward from Imola onwards and with Spain in their sights.

The projections of the team, along with onboard view SUGGEST this one is able to pass the forthcoming test and changes that forces for others.
The high speed in both Suzuka and Saudi did (tentatively) appear to display this with the front end bite (from not laying the wing back so far in comparison to immediate competitors) seeming to perform well. That's in comparison to both MB & McL in those situations.
In other words, this current one APPEARS to "bleed" off less downforce at maximum velocity in comparison to those two other team.
The Ferrari too (relatively advanced in race pace) as casual observation pairs their front wing movement loosely with RB in terms of designed in flex.

If we recall the race in Jeddah, track temp wasn't that 'cold' for zero/negative deg, like it was in Suzuka. And without doubt, tyres were properly loaded in the high speed corners, particularly so, since the compounds were 'softer' year-on-year w.r.t 2024. Which indirectly gives an inkling that Redbull might have finally broken the ice with their tyre eating problem.

I don't know how many of us here follow the 'RB21' car thread, but one of our members had posted in detail, about how, for Jeddah, the internal heat exchanger layout was rolled back from the super-aggressive RB20 style layout, to the more docile RB19 style, thus cleaning up rogue behavior of the hot air exits at the rear of the engine cover/cokebottle area. And how it benefitted the quality of the air hitting the critical rear portion of the car, enhancing the extraction of air from the diffuser, beam wing & rear wing ; eventually improving the 'quality' of downforce not just in straight ahead position, but critically more so in yaw condition (corners). Remember how Max was talking about 'mid corner imbalance' in Bahrain ? Such 'erratic' behavior of the rear DF air in yaw state, due to rogue heat exchanger air could be the 'transient effect' felt by Max in the middle of the corner. Perhaps this solution might be the eureka moment that bridges the gap between all the tools at the factory and the real world ; resulting in that theoretial "wider working window" (what Wache talked of in Bahrain test) and also improve tyre wear (allowing for more front wing as part of 'balance' and improve front tyre wear as well).

It sure sounded like a very plausible explanation to me.

They already had abandoned the rb20 internal heat exchanger layout for the start of 2025

We still haven't seen the internal configuration of post-saudi Arabia rb21

Definitely has a "heading in the right direction" feel about it, doesn't it.

More of an acid test this weekend,, with the sprint etc along with track temp and corner demand peculiarities thrown in.

Hard to predict in my view, but waiting tentatively to see initially the latent out of the box pace and it's proximity to others.

Max is now departing from Nice and heading to Miami. You can zoom-in the jet.
