It's certainly hard to contest that this two driver pairing is a more symbiotic one for the team as a whole.

That's pure and technical race driving skills I'm observing.

Absolutely nothing to do with personality and character, for the avoidance of doubt.

The team’s done a complete 180 since the start of the year, and yeah, a lot of that’s down to Hamilton leaving. It’s not just about results — his whole vibe, that kind of defeatist attitude, really weighed on everyone. The constant negativity just dragged things down. Now it feels lighter, more focused. Even Toto mentioned how Kimi’s brought this fresh, positive energy that’s lifted the whole team’s spirits.

Autoracer
Mercedes and George Russell are both eager to continue their partnership, but no agreement has been reached yet, despite several meetings.

Russell is seeking a new deal that includes a significant salary increase and a long-term contract.

My intention was, very specifically, in avoidance of comment in regard to character.

Just that the technical aspect of driving these car seemed more productive with these two current driver and their delivery of that.
Previously I've given reason about how I feel KA is more thoroughly prepared to run in 18 inch wheel /tyre era than some others. His quietly assured participation so far has shown good understanding and trajectory in his step up to F1 class racing.
We'd heard but not seen his potential prior to arrival here in a permanent seat at MB with that quick look at Monza asking more questions than giving answers as to his ultimate potential.

Seems Miami is the place for terrible liveries and colour schemes.

These changes in liveries and overalls is an eyesore to be honest. Once in a year, is fine, but changing these like drivers' change their helmet design, is really annoying. So many times, it becomes difficult to know which car it is on TV. I am not sure how annoying it would be for audiences in the stands or on track side. The more hideous the designs are, like this one, the more annoying they become.

I don't see the issue with car spotting. If you can memorize a helmet, you can memorize which driver has the yellow or black T-cam.
