Fabrega has made a mistake here. The bottom picture is the rb21 launch spec, same edge wing used on day 1 and 2 of pre-season testing rather than the one that was used at races 1-4. But it's understandable how he made the mistake as on Thursday at Saudi Arabia red bull used the old/testing spec floor during pitstop practice, so when he went to find a comparison photo for the new floor edge wing he went to his camera roll from Saudi Arabia.

On further inspection it looks like strangely red bull actually raced with the launch spec rb21 floor rather than the upgraded floor used at rounds 1-4 brought during testing ... Slightly concerning

Either they’ve found enough internal aero performance and correlation stability with the current setup that a more aggressive repackaging step isn’t needed... Or, they’re choosing to evolve the internals gradually, resolving local flow issues and validating each step before going further. This would reduce risk and allow better calibration between simulator, CFD, and on track behavior. We don't know if it's still on the road map to be introduced later or not.

We also shouldn’t rule out the possibility that some of the correlation issues were addressed by other means, like simulator algorithm adjustments, better trackside instrumentation, or floor sensitivity tuning rather than just by mechanical repackaging.

Nicolas Carpentiers highlights the innermost floor fence as possibly updates for Miami. The change looks like it's less rounded off to me

This Motorsport shot also gives us a good angle on the new floor edge wing. Personally I can't see any difference between this and the one run at Bahrain, china, Australia and Japan (see my previous post for comparison shots to previous FEW)

Is the bahrain final spec one that is simply having a more straightened out floor edge? I can't see significant differences. Same with the new one lol.

The effect of the innermost floor fence on the flow along the chassis. Always remember the flow arounf the chassis may not be the thing they are looking for, but it may be a litmus test to see if it behaves as expected as it is difficult to put flow vis under the floor
