They ended 1.5 behind Antonelli. Honestly I don't think they could've passed him, they had better pace but only marginally. Maybe if they'd pressured him into a mistake but it's not like they were significantly quicker.

What a shitshow. Slower than Williams, terrible communication, and now we'll get 10 pages of Hamilton fans getting mad at Leclerc for something that isn't even Leclerc's fault.

This team is so frustrating. Sometimes I regret not becoming a McLaren fan instead.

The car is looking worse with each passing weekend!
I have to say that Lewis is very childish! And I would add that in the end, with a huge helping hand from the strategists, Lewis cost Leclerc a shot at Antonelli!
I wouldnt agree with that. Lewis always tried to help the team previous races. He let leclerc go in China without teams asking. He had better tires he should have been let earlier by the team. He cooked his medium tires behind leclerc. Second swap happened when ham was only 2.2 behind. It was for nothing at the end. Ferrari is hopeless at managing this stuff. It was the same between Sainz - Leclerc. It will be the same between leclerc and hamilton. Ferrar strategists results this things happening. Btw I was thinking Sainz was more at fault but now thinking leclerc was the same To Sainz also

The team has rock bottom and the scary part is that I'm not even sure it'll bounce off

It's absolutely obvious that if they just let Leclerc stay in front, they would probably have got Antonelli...
Getting near Antonelli and passing Antonelli are two different things.

Both drivers could've gotten near him, but neither looked to have the pace to pass him and keep the position.
Hamilton wouldn't get past Leclerc without orders, and neither guy was getting past Antonelli, Hamilton's mediums dropped before end.

Antonelli made his stop under green flag, he also ran the hards for a longer stint.
Those factors allowed Ferrari to be close and faster down the stretch.

Yup, said it too, Ferrari were fighting over themselves for a position worth 6 points. the car is complete trash and that should be the main takeaway from this race. They better hope whatever they bring at Imola makes a big difference

I agree, to me this was the 1st Ferrari brainfart moment of the season. Immediately Hamilton must had passed Leclerc with the much better tyres and Leclerc could had gain from this with DRS behind him and both could had reach the MB.

I'm glad no one in here is making a big deal of whatever that B.S drama was. Ferrari just totally incompetent organizationally and with their car. This season is over, bring that Spain upgrade and focus everything on 2026 if it even matters.

Arrivabene, Binotto, Vasseur… not one improved pitwall communication.

I mean, you have one driver closing on other on alternate strategy and 7th and 8th in the race. Swap without hesitation. Still remebering that hockenheim 2018…
who's next in line? Seems Fred's time is up

I told all of you, I told ALL OF YOU. Hyping up this off-season like it made any bit of a difference for the past 16 years.

It didn’t matter if was Raikkonen, Alonso, Vettel and now Hamilton.

This is who Ferrari is and frankly I hope Leclerc comes to the realization that he needs to change teams as soon as possible to have any chance of getting a WDC. With Ferrari the writing is on the wall. He is far too talented to hope for championship with a team that operationally is not there.

If you actually listened to the radios you'd know Leclerc said the second swap was a bad idea, he said they should just stay in position. Ferrari ignored him and insisted they swap back.

But I know actually watching the drivers instead of running with narratives to hate on them is difficult for some of you.
