Fred cant be serious...

"Fred Vasseur (Ferrari): "57 seconds behind the race leader? I think McLaren was on another planet today, but our pace was similar to that of Mercedes and Red Bull. I still believe in the car's potential. I don't think we maximized the balance yesterday."

Don't you know, it's just about the compromise and potential. The upgrades aren't that important...

I now understand Manchester United fans with ETH.

That’s a terrible quote.

its like hes in his own world, both his drivers complained about the car having a tiny operating window, balance being all over the place, having no pace and needing upgrades to solve the issues yesterday and he's like "nahhh"

That's rough, i don't think he should be fired but he needs to learn when to stay quiet.

Leclerc and Hamilton did a great race.
The car was literally impossible to drive. It was a miracle to finish ahead of one Williams.
It's only because Sainz was driving so poorly today. --- up the restart then almost crashed into Hamilton for no reason at the end. I guess he was feeling pressured since Albon was driving so much better.

I didnt say I hate Leclerc, that is a big statement from you and you should correct it and apologize. This all happened because of ferrari strategists being soft and incomptetent and late to decide
I apologize then, but to be fair your comment said "I was thinking Sainz was more at fault but now thinking Leclerc was the same toward Sainz also" which implies that you think it's Leclerc's fault for what occurred with Sainz and by an extension Hamilton.
What i meant was they were both equally at fault. And if ferrari doesnt sort it out we will hear this nonsense from leclerc and hamilton a lot. They will almost be equally at fault too.
First of all, they should forbid drivers to ask for swaps
Secondly, strategist should react and swap quickly when one car is faster than the other
Thirdly if the car who got ahead by swapping can not overtake the opponent in front, give the place back at the end of the race
Mercedes made good work on it at the past.

And the drivers sound soooo confident that the team can fix things

They need to focus everything on 2026 because this season is impossible to save at this point.

Even if the engine is trash getting the basics of the chassis right is crucial.

Glimmer of hope from Lewis, he says they know where they are lacking and are just waiting for a fix to come

... and Williams. Potential clearly isn't going to win them the championship. Mercedes had "potential" in 2022 and 2024 but needed a perfect set-up, a suitable track and the right conditions to be competitive. Ferrari is on the more extreme end of that right now.

The car is looking worse with each passing weekend!
I have to say that Lewis is very childish! And I would add that in the end, with a huge helping hand from the strategists, Lewis cost Leclerc a shot at Antonelli!
I wouldnt agree with that. Lewis always tried to help the team previous races. He let leclerc go in China without teams asking. He had better tires he should have been let earlier by the team. He cooked his medium tires behind leclerc. Second swap happened when ham was only 2.2 behind. It was for nothing at the end. Ferrari is hopeless at managing this stuff. It was the same between Sainz - Leclerc. It will be the same between leclerc and hamilton. Ferrar strategists results this things happening. Btw I was thinking Sainz was more at fault but now thinking leclerc was the same To Sainz also
Leclerc was whining unnecessarily over the radio, guilt tripping the team about the swap.
Lewis was indeed right about the strategy. He had the softs and earned the right to use the full pace. Where Lewis joined Charles in the whining was when he asked if he should let Sainz by too.
But I think he knew that it was not the right time to swap. The right time would be at the end. He could have come within DRS of Antonelli, but I dont think he would have passed. Neither would. Car is just best of the rest right now.
For Sure!!

I don't think he meant the fix is coming soon unfortunately, just that they know what the problem is. Which is the same as Leclerc said, they know the problem but that doesn't mean they'll fix it right now.

* Not sure if this is the same interview you're talking about, if there's a different one let me know.

Delusion. McL is already 152 points ahead which will be over 200 by Spain. The car on average is significantly slower than RB and MB as well.

Pure and total delusion. They need to stop wasting time and resources on this car immediately !
