More like a newly revised rear suspension, look at the wishbone angles.OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑15 May 2025, 20:11Rear suspension fairing was removed. See : https://x.com/mercedesamgpcf1/status/19 ... 56799?s=46
The detachment of the nose from the lowest main plane is a key part of the front wing flexibility. It’s what Red Bull did to start the year and what Mclaren and Merc had for a long time. So I think this is Merc’s Spain compliant development. Spain is the last race of the triple header. They won’t introduce a “second” front wing in 2 weeks time on a triple header.CjC wrote: ↑15 May 2025, 20:25The nose attaches to the lowest main plane on the new wing in ImolaLasssept wrote: ↑15 May 2025, 20:01old ?

So there's more to come.Luscion wrote: ↑15 May 2025, 21:06from AMuS
Ferrari and Mercedes are still holding back in Imola with their upgrades. The final aero package only comes in Barcelona.https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/for ... barcelona/The two teams do not touch the underbody. This gave them two weeks more time for development.
Did you see the rear wishbones? They look repositioned.AR3-GP wrote: ↑15 May 2025, 22:33We have seen some changes (wing, suspension fairing), but not all. We wouldn't see the underody or brake basket updates since they are hidden.
Also there's this:

Lol what? Isn't this what Mclaren did last year?OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 01:56Disappointed that the team is playing it safe. Seems that they are not confident in their tools and package. If they decide to bolt it on tomorrow, I’ll take this back.
AMuS says that Merc, like Ferrari, will wait until Spain to bolt on the new floor and diffuser. If Merc bolts them tomorrow, I will take back what I wrote. IMO, which is uneducated, they should risk it, bolt them tomorrow and test them. There is no point in exercising caution on the last year of this reg set and by their experience from previous short comings, they should be able to get a handle on them. The sooner they run those parts, the sooner they’ll get data.SB15 wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 02:31Lol what? Patience. There is literally no need to rush, after Imola is another 17 races left, it may seem that this upgrade package was mechanical as I predicted. Why rush something that may or may not backfire? That's the risk involved, something that is very wise and Ferrari is also wise doing the same.OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 03:22AMuS says that Merc, like Ferrari, will wait until Spain to bolt on the new floor and diffuser. These documents are terrible. One The Redbull document is missing the sidepod inlet and mirror attachments. The Mercedes one is missing the rear suspension changes listings.
