It's the same that allows turning vanes to be on top. They cannot be extended rearward however as that would be outside the side pod inlet box.
Yea that’s what I thought. When I first saw it I was concerned that it might have been part of the fence that had penetrated the car!Paa wrote: ↑17 May 2025, 22:56That must be the channel to cool the driver.
It takes air from the tip of the nose.

i believe the wing/nose on the left is just the rb21 launch spec nose
RedBull is arguably very stiff so lower pressure might help with that a bit? But probably it is way more complex than that and also Max suggested an unusual setup change from Friday to Saturday so there must be more behind.carisi2k wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 22:52Has anybody else noted that the RB21 works better when Pirelli reduces the tyre pressure? Friday it was horrible and then on Saturday and Sunday with the reduced tyre pressures it is the fastest car. Maybe time for Red Bull to stop looking at aero solutions and start working on a mechanical package for RB21 that can work better with higher tyre pressures.
I believe there's some store in this particular area, although it would need very particular performance analysis and correlation from us as observers to bring a more comprehensive view.Paa wrote: ↑18 May 2025, 22:58RedBull is arguably very stiff so lower pressure might help with that a bit?
