Horner has changed his tune in his post race interview ‘we aren’t expecting it to shake things up that much’.
Which wasn’t the question he was asked. They asked him if Red Bull needed to change their wing for Spain.
Red Bulls front wing flexes beyond 10mm.
Moving more than 10mm on track doesn't mean it moves that much from the static test.
Yea, just like every teams front wing?
Just a fan's point of view

Btw, what happened to all that talk about "Max races Oscar differently"? Was that Brundle Sr? Completely out of touch. The argument could perhaps have been made that Oscar races Max better than Lando has done historically, though we might have to revise that theory now. Oscar's few battles with Max have been with a great car, Lando it's more of a mixed bag. Anyways, Max races everyone the same, aggressively.

We need to see what Mclaren can counter punch with upgrade wise. Stella says Mclaren haven’t upgraded yet
Didn't they bring upgrades to Imola?
No.
A rear corner update only.
The high DF rear wing did one out lap in FP3 and then taken off the car ready for Monaco
Ok, thanks for the clarification.

Bingo. People just assume things in their head and spin narratives and if you actually only listen and not watch, it's very easy to eat it all up.

Provocative opinion: I think the overtake of today proofs he could have made the corner in Jeddah if he was not pushed wide. He is that brilliant in braking.

Is it possible that McLaren is in the same dilemma as RBR was? When you have a very well developed car you can only overcook it and make it pointier and harder to drive?

For RBR we'll have to see how the next races pan out. It would be foolish to think after one race that they are a regular contender for the win. If Monaco and Barcelona are a repeat of today or similar to today, then it looks promising and we can be happy.

I still hope the team drop to 4th in the constructors by the end of June to get even more WT testing time, because I fear the team allocated way too much resources to the RB21 and compromise development of the '26 car.

Not provocative at all.

Christian Horner: "I think we managed to get the car into a window, the parts that we bought worked. We managed to get a set up, and once you're in the window, then you can control your tyre temperatures". so its not about fancy brake system

I would also question that diffuser McLaren introduced in Jeddah and never use again, was classified as a "test", but it's undoubtedly strange that we never saw it again in 3 races. I feel they may be scary of going down the RB path of chasing performance at cost of car operative window.

Congratulations to the team for winning their 400th Grand Prix. Max is confident with the car again. The mid-chassis updates provided a wider working window to set up the car balance. Yuki also had a decent measured race with a one-stopper. The deg was minimized thanks to the VSC and SC, but overall it seems that despite the higher race day temps that the tyres held up thanks to minimal sliding.

While the team and Max deserve a lot of credit for today, what about Tsunoda ? I couldn't help wondering whether he was driving an F2 car - was he running 'older spec' car after his Q1 crash ? It seemed so slow - turns, straight, everywhere. Yes, he scored 1 point from P20, but isn't that the bare minimum ?

It's not "all" about that, but everything helps.
It doesn't turn.

Crazy that Max has more poles and wins than Lando this year.

His strategy was tyre management.
