There are too many things to fit perfectly all at once. And it would seem as if every time they want to shortcut the time to become a big team it paradoxically drags on another year and ends up with Lawrence getting angry.
It needs more time to gel and also Lawrence to stop putting so much pressure on the team. I do think eventually there will be great success but more towards 2028 perhaps
You think Fallows should have been given more time?
He should have been at least given until the new wind tunnel was operational. They've already spoken about seeing a difference in the data between their new tunnel and the Mercedes one on the recent update parts.
Yeah, I don't know what happened there. We had that big blow up in Imola last year by Lawrence with Fallows. That started Lawrence's shopping for Cardile and Newey. I mean Newey became available. That was just out bidding/negotiating everyone else...but he really went out and got Cardile. He wasn't looking to leave Ferrari.
Obviously, you can't afford to keep all three. Some suggested that Cardile was Newey's man. If that is true, then it all comes down to Lawrence believing in Newey/Cardile team over Fallows/(can't remember his name) team.
I kind of was surprised by the Fallows move but I can't help but think that Newey/Cardile is truely an upgrade. So Fallows was just a Newey victim? The Fallows teams became expendable after they signed Newey and Cardile.
