We should post Stella's words about the Barcelona stage here

Sergej
Sky Italy commentator said they spoke with Andrea Stella who told them off records "I'm looking forward to Barcelona to show we will demolish them" they are confident it won't change a thing.
:o :o

I’m surprised Stella would say such a thing, he’s usually very balanced with his expectations

I believe it was said ‘behind the camera’ so no official quote. It’s probably just something that was said off the cuff during commentary

Well it's not very "off the record" now lol

I'm sure he'll be very careful with the individual he said that too, now.

Maybe they should make it that overlapped cars are out of the race. It would put a limit how hard you can slow down the pack.
=D> Best idea I’ve heard so far
Thinking about it it does offer some advantages. The whole "hold back the pack" becomes much riskier, by losing pace against the leaders you expose yourself to being lapped. So you can play some strategy games, but not too much.

The problem is that it does nothing if the leaders do the holding back.

There are 3 points between them. The season is still looong, but if this continues, there could be great tensions at the end.

McLaren is now four 1-2 finishes ahead of second team (all three are within 5 points), and that is if McLaren wins no points in those races. If this continues we will win constructors long time before the end of season.

Congrats to Lando, it was the perfect weekend for him. Showed pace on all days and the best pace when it mattered most (Q). Made the doubters (including yours truly) eat their words. His biggest challenge is looming ahead - has to 'maintain consistency' till end of season, because his main competitor is right next to him in the garage. This McLaren season has all the potential to be 2016 Mercedes - tooth and nail fighting.

@DarthPiekus, is there one race weekend where you are not b*tching about Redbull and Verstappen ?

Superb control from both NOR and PIA trough the race, great result for the team and a confidence buster for NOR after his recent dip in form.

Cant wait to see what happens next week in Barcelona with the new TD kicking in.

Super tied so far, but without direct fight on the track, lets keep it this way :)

Well done McLaren, they held their nerve, just! On to Barcelona and I hope they prove the Red Bull allegations of cheating get smashed.

For F1 and Monaco, this was arguably a shameful spectacle, plastic racing, as if DRS wasn't contrived enough. If the 2024 race was the catalyst, then the "fix" was wrong. The Answer - simply fix the error in the rules that allows a free tyre change in a red flag situation, and not just Monaco. However the race was still going to be a parade with these hideously ungainly monster cars and I don't see any political will to tackle that!

Did you think he was never gonna win another race, even with the clear fastest car on the grid? :/
