A complete abortion of a race.

...but still better than the win Danny managed sans 1 cylinder.

Nice drive by Lando.

But standard Monaco snooze fest. 2 stops didn't really achieve anything least without some kinda modifications for next year it they do.

Oscar seemed a little off the pace all weekend compared to Lando, don't know I've seen him make that many close calls to the wall before.
They should probably provide additional points for average fastest lap pace for top 10 and maybe more people will push rather than just form a train, or maybe force them to use all different set of tyres and make them start without softest tyres so they don't pit immediately and run the race.

Still didn't enjoy the race this year. It's such a let down after qualifying each and every year.

Race was bad but far better than last year. This is basically your average Monaco race in the dry. The reason the 2 stop didn't spice it up more is because they were already pretty much lined up in order of race pace, and then you had the backmarker train which killed the pace of the drivers going long when lapping them.

Did something change. I never saw the FIA President during the award ceremony. Is he no good for royalty.

THIS IS THE WORST RACE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I had zero expectations with this routine procession, but I didn't expect it to be this horrendous.
Better than last year.

This is considerably worse than last year.

Simply to back the pack up that causes around 1 minute and 16 seconds loss of lap time since you have to pit both drivers and pitstops are 19 seconds loss. Then the fact this happened twice means you'll lose 2 minutes and 32 seconds loss of lap time.

This mandatory 2 stopper now shows there's a much bigger emphasis on qualifying well.

I’m glad they tried it. It didn’t work. The slow driving was even more obvious and became ridiculous.

With the on screen graphics and driver tracker app it’s very obvious what’s going on now. Maybe that makes it seem worse than in previous generations when you watched the race pretty much oblivious to the minutiae.

Indeed a joke. The worse race on the calendar.

The racing bulls strategy looked to be the best of the all, Mercs losing both cars from Q3 yesterday meant no chance but to remain stuck behind. They had nothing to do but get played by the car in front. This mandatory 2 stops or make it 5 won’t change anything when there is no place to overtake cleanly on track.

I don't think they can do anything to make the racing more interesting. Everyone is jumping on Mercedes strategy, but what could they do when they're being backed up by the pack when they pit? Yuki was one of the one's who pitted early and that didn't work out.

The writing is on the wall, this track unfortunately needs to be remove.

Last year was a worst case scenario with a red flag after 1 lap completed, the frankly ridiculous rule that allows you fulfill your obligatory tire change under red.

A 1 stop race without a red flag would've been mostly the same, a little less artificial, but also resolved quicker.

It was worth a shot, we lost nothing. More stops is more chance for things to happen.

Absolutely dire. Time to call it a parade and not have points for it. The only way this tweek will work is if they are only allowed to run one grade of tire that can only last 15 laps and allow 5 sets
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.
