I have been wrong many times.LM10 wrote: ↑25 May 2025, 22:30Ferrari didn’t need a disaster from McLaren. Both cars were on par here.
You would have never expected Ferrari to fight for pole in Monaco. You’re still trying to make you look like the wise person. Or let me say it in your exaggerating style - “the wisest person in the history of this forum”.
For anyone who can't see title of the video, Lewis kind of got radio silence after the engineer gave their comments after the race. He asked Adami if he was upset with him and got more radio silence
Apparently it's a nothing burger and it was just that Adami couldn't respond in that moment, one of the Autoracer guys replied to a tweet about itGrizzleBoy wrote: ↑26 May 2025, 00:52For anyone who can't see title of the video, Lewis kind of got radio silence after the engineer gave their comments after the race. I think Hamilton has been over his peak for a while now. He also hasn't been living for the sport as certain others do, putting in the time in Sims etc. Leclerc is no Bottas or George Russell , who already had the better of Hamilton.
Spain 2020 was just bonkers with Seb saying "Here is a task for you". I honestly think it's just nepotism running deep in Ferrari because of the job security that the Italians have.
but apparently Lewis asked Seb about Adami and Seb recommended. also, he didn't have problem with Sainz. My good ness if Lewis wants another race engineer he can go and get that changed, I really don't know why this is such a drama.
Perhaps it's growing pains between the driver and engineer. However Leclerc and Bryan hit it off really well with how concise and sharp the communication is compared to Xavi or even Hamilton and Adami.ringo wrote: ↑26 May 2025, 08:01I don't think Adami is the problem. He has to wait on the strategist to confer information to Hamilton. The race engineer is not the strategist, he is mainly there to manage the car, which I think Adami is doing well enough. The problem is Ferrari behind the scenes people fumbling and hemming and hawing with the data. Adami has to then determine how best to communicate the waffling to Hamilton.
As it relates to getting the most out of the car, I think this is the best driver pairing on the grid. No silly accidents so far when it matters. Also Hamilton's qualifying is not bad for 40 year old against the fastest qualifier on the grid, in a car he's still learning. Maybe 1.5 tenths or so on a normal track if both have no issues. It should close when the car gets the upgrades of if it can fight for wins.
