I know every man and his dog will claim it's not the case. But the car is developed for one driver and one driver only who has a very unique style few else have.
The compromises other drivers have to make on setup means it's just very slow otherwise.
Ricardo did well when he was with Max before, but maybe back then the car wasn't entirely built around Max, but one of the reasons for Ricardo leaving the first time was he was feeling that RedBulls were favoring Max, so your guess is good as mine, but people just don't want to believe that for now, someday when Max leaves the team and some other driver drives then we might see almost similar pace between two teammates.
Daniel was 0.5s or more off Max in quali in multiple occasions. Back then he would be right behind him on the grid, like p4 or p6. Today that means you are out of Q1.
Exactly. The field spread is so narrow in F1 now.

Maybe you are talking about 2018, the season when Ricciardo decided he no longer wants to continue where Max was being favoured, look at 2016 and 2017.

My prediction 1. Piastri 2, Norris 3. Russel 4. Leclerc 5. Max.

Mclaren takes the pole position by at least 0,3-0,5 s. Ominious.
Damn good call so far

Track temp has dropped nearly 10C since the start of Q3. Could be fun these last runs.

Omg Crofty banging on for the second consecutive day about Jupiter completing an orbit of the sun since Alonsos last win.

Unbearable commentary

Yeah, Oscar's lap was pretty good. Will be interesting at Turn 1 tomorrow.

Not so sure about that. If the track temps stay well north of 40 C McLaren is hugely advantaged.
Yeah but they're not 8 tenths faster than the next car on merit.
Sure they are, at these track temps. If the temperature comes down then the gap will come down and they might be, idk, 3 tenths ahead.

What was up with the 2 Mclarens crossing over in the first run?

Well done Piastri, smashed Norris today.

Is it safe to say Ferrari will take P2 in the WCC tomorrow? Mercedes will struggle to keep the Ferraris behind and George will be behind Verstappen if their tire wear isn't good.

Lando tried to steal a tow from Oscar but he backed off immediately after the line.

So all this hyped drama of flexi wings related TD, bear no fruit. It's status quo. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Pole has generally been a difficult place to start race here. It's one of the longest run to turn 1 and tow is going to be powerful.

I know right.

The car was on rails for Oscar, he extracted everything from that one.
