well, what do you think about today performance?
Leclerc had the best race pace in FP3 on C5.Matt2725 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 01:12I don't buy the dirty air excuse personally. He overcooked it in sector 1 and paid for it immediately with the somewhat clumsy turn 6-7 combo nearly putting it in the wall trying to get out of T7.
Hadjar being there was just an easy excuse.
Mercedes had the best race pace on Friday in the sims and deg looks low. I don't anticipate too much movement in the top 10 over the race without a SC intervention.
Are you sure about this ? LeClerc was doing late 14s in his race sim in FP3, whilst the likes of Russel/Norris/Max were running the in the early to mid 16s in their race sims in FP2. There has to be a fuel load difference, the Ferrari is not a 1.2s faster car than the other three.
Charles feels comfortable in the car, the pace will be there. He just needs a good clean start and needs to be past Lewis before lap 10.venkyhere wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 08:15Are you sure about this ? Wonder what lap Lewis will be asked to let Charles by today.ismail1991 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 00:15We will see tomorrow. Enough with driver rivalry

That’s the reason I’ve added another comment. Nothing to read from FP’s, come race day everyone will find the better balance & turn up their engines.venkyhere wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 08:15Are you sure about this ? You need to accept the fact that Lewis is not at his best due the car limitations & his driving style. He didn’t adapt to it completely & that’s why he’s struggling.ismail1991 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 12:31Canada really suits Lewis and he is at a good position at the start, I am positive for him. It will be interesting to see how quickly Norris will move forward.
Charles' only real hope is a well timed safety car. George will cook his tyres early defending Max meaning we have a DRS train of George, Max, Piastri and Hamilton or Max will clear George and run away with it. Antonelli will be a gap behind dragging Alonso, Norris and Charles. Hope for Charles is if Norris cuts his way through he might disrupt any DRS trains allowing Charles to follow. It is a shame as the car looks good this weekend.
