Just shows how big impact track and track conditions have, without any big change he won last race.

Looked an inevitable top 3 as soon as Kimi destroyed the race behind. Borefest in the end. Hopefully Silverstone produces.

Agree on the Macca radio, pretty embarrassing pleading for pace, and being coached.

They all have their race engineers reviewing data. Just rather than “please help” they’ll say “where am I losing time”. It doesn’t make any difference.

We’re back to selective broadcasting again.

This is silly. He was asking about settings/more power which we have heard from all drivers over the years

3 place grid drop penalty for Kimi is a joke. Just ridiculous, what wrong with these stewards.

DOTD: Tsunorrastri. Tsunoda for the "passing through the middle of two cars mid corner" move, Norris and Piastri for not hitting each other and using everything McLaren gave them perfectly. Harmonious. I wonder if McLaren will have the largests WCC points gap to second place ever this season.

I just wish they had a better livery for these pasts couple seasons. The orange triangles + Google primary colors thing is uninspired, and they still can't commit to covering more than half the carbon fiber on the car.

First lap incidents are always taken lightly, in this case Max was DNFd by Antonelli, hence 3 Place grid drop since he himself DNFd.

The application of penalty is fair as it's consistent according to rules in the rulebook.

Exactly! Was expecting them to be more of a threat to, at least, Ham. After the 2nd lap, Rus had no chance at all

yeah, sure.
Hulkenberg got 10 place grid drop for spa 2018.
Both Bottas and Stroll got 5 place grid drop for Hungary 2021, in wet which has always been considered a massive mitigating circumstance. and by the way all of these were actually first corner/first braking mistake, unlike today.
If it was just a tiny miscalculation and a slight tap it would be fine. But it was not even close to be a slight tap, he carried massive amount of excessive speed. Why so doesn't matter at all.

Rules have been updated since 2021, looking at old rules is wrong.

then try to use better words, because 'always' doesn't fit there.
