Am I going on Ground effect era hate ride, yes I am:

Stiff suspension, can't ride Kerbs as much due to the risk of floor damage, can't run the car low enough due to plank wear, can't run the car too stiff because of porpoising, tyre sensitive wheel covers that heat the tyres which is even worsen due to the outwash design, massive Venuri-tunnels that produces a massive amount of spray to even the most minimal of drizzle, cars that become unstable to even the smallest tail wind or lightest of dirty air, and even if you are in dirty air you can't follow closely, can't race closely because you don't want to risk damage that massively affects your performance, and then they increased the weight... like for what!??

Yeap that is a good vent totally agree. The rules are ruining F1 being a prototype formula to a build it all according to specs

They need to think about GP race if rain is not possible then drop Silverstone , Zandvoort and Spa

it's understandable to take different approach with juniors. they lack skill and experience.
these 20 though we have in f1 were supposed to be the best in the world.
and please lets not mention poor visibility again, it was always very poor and a big problem in the past in the wet, and cars were never as safe as they are now.

When did we accept this ludicrous narrative about visibility issues in the wet? Visibility is always reduced in the wet. Now you have drivers consistently moaning at the slightest drop of rain. We are teaching the young drivers the wrong principles. This isn't F1.

When they red flag it during the race, everyone can change whatever they like, so those guys which gambled on a dry race would massively benefit from it.

It was pretty wet and with more rain to come - maybe they could have done a lap or two, but to me not starting at all was a sensible decision. Personally I prefer it this way

No, they absolutely can not. They can change tyres, change front wing angle and some few other things, but not the setup.

Maybe off topic but its funny how the F1TV commentary just runs out of things to talk about. Current commentary means they have to talk all the time, they have decided.
Back in the day before this "Sky" kind of commentary they would be silent and just say start is delayed. I have listened to my native language and the f1 live one and its just funny.
Useless interviews and useless info for more then an hour. I went off cleaning the house and make dinner and they still going on without absolutely nothing to say

So another chapter of this patheticness. Among all those billions of dollars apparently there aren't a couple ten thousand to equip cars with see in rain/fog cameras (short-wave infrared cameras).
Not that it's strictly necessary. They happily raced in worse circumstances that Belgium 2021 in the 2000s, without issues. Drivers drove with a degree of caution.

I don't think it's a right decision, that's basically waiting for a dry race.

we all know they don't race these cars in proper rain anyway. The choice is only between delaying it in advance or giving it a short try and abort right after.

I agree...
and now we will get a typical inter start, one dry line race after. the worst possible type of wet race, always boring, because genuine overtaking becomes impossible.
