Jos's own father was in the army, I can imagine him being a bit of a drill sergent at times with Max especially with training etcPlatinumZealot wrote: β18 Aug 2022, 03:22So.... was Max trained like a child soldier or a child performer like the Jackson 5, or something in between?

If not, I'll start. We know that:
These guys prefer a pointy, tail-happy car:
Hamilton
Schumi
Vettel(?)
Massa(?)
These guys want the tail to just stay put:
Webber(?)
Button
It has been a little weird since the GE era started. I think he can handle a loose rear but only if it's predictable, as he did with the W12. He does prefer a pointy car but needs the rear to keep up.hsg wrote: β10 Dec 2025, 22:56Lewis prefer oversteer?raymondu999 wrote: β19 Aug 2010, 19:45Hey all. Furthermore, he hated the way Ferrari had developed engine braking as a way of aiding corner rotation. The whole set-up and aerodynamic philosophy of the car was based around that. βWhen I was at McLaren with Lewis,β recalled Heikki Kovalainen, βhe hated engine braking. In fact, heβd sometimes have negative engine braking.β Heavy engine braking combined with Hamiltonβs aggressive entry approach just made for rear instability.
