I hope Leclerc will handle the pressure and not bin it.

No 'Straight Mode' activation zones in Monaco. Will this help overtakes as "X-mode" is mostly a good defending aid, or will it reduce overtaking as effectively there's no DRS in Monaco, just one Push-to-Pass zone.

Will teams run active aero parts disabled, or will they ditch all the mechanisms required for active aero, reducing weight for Monaco-only spec parts?

Reckon this will be an easy 1-2 for McLaren. Maybe with a Ferrari in there too.

I don't think Merc will be as far behind as many expect though.

It will be impossible to combat the grunt from the Mercedes PU. LeClerc will dominate the slow corners but the merc PU will ace the traction out of corners. Hence expecting a McLaren (shorter gearing than Mercedes) or Antonelli (superior to Russel in slow corner rotation and kerb usage) to be on pole and win.

Guessing Lando v Charles for pole and the win. Oscar struggles on low grip surfaces and Lewis hasn’t had the best of times around here. The Mercedes and Red Bulls don’t seem to be designed or set up for Monaco.

Also think McLaren with shorter wheelbase could have an advantage.
Normally Ferrari would be on Pole but no XY-Mode could hurt them.
Or am I making a logic mistake?
Mercedes might be still on top as they have the "secret" mode of their PU. and as everyone thinks Ferrari will be on top they won't, so it Mercedes versus Mclaren... but maybe RB has the best Monaco package and VES will be Pole-man.

I think Ferrari is the shortest from all the others so this gives them the edge here.

They have the shortest Team Principal but not wheelbase.

Dont know who is shortest specifically, but Ferrari has been pretty 'agile' in slower corners. Along with strong aero, that's why many are considering them favorites.

Seems silly to rule out Mclaren and Mercedes, though. ICE advantage is nice to have in Monaco and both teams have perfectly good chassis as well.
