Belief is not equal to knowledge, and often wrong.
+-0.2 sec means the car will be max 0.2 sec slower or max 0.2 sec faster.
So +- means, between plus 0.2 and minus 0.2 compared to zero.
mate
you talking about knowledge...
You've got the symbols mixed up
this is "±" the symbol you referring to which means: "represent an estimated range of error around a given number"

example:
A measurement like 10cm ± 0,2cm means the true value is expected to be anywhere between 9,8cm and 10,2 cm.

next time you want to be a smartass, get your facts together

"mate"..... then what did +-0.2 mean??? What else???
And no, this is not unimportant. Did you notice you all are chatting here in the TECHNICAL F1 forum?
Next time if you go to the doctors or who design your home, think about if units, technical and mathematical signs are important or not.
I will help: They are, and they are strict. There are no things like "I meant it like this or that"... gosh....
Stop protecting wrong knowledge, it just leads to an even worse world than what we are currently living in.

I've posted some information from AutoRacer/Duchessa on what we can expect in the upcoming races from Ferrari, and you're picking on over nothing...

According to your reasoning, Ferrari would introduce upgrades which will slow down SF-26 by 0,2s? Because I used the +- sign.

In future, just for you, I’ll be more precise and say that Ferrari will gain, not lose...

at this point you look stupid.
stop this nonsense

looks like Ferrari missed the loophole to add wings to the rear wing actuator for Monaco only

I’m sure it was a preference not to. The car is strong and in a favorite position as it is. Considering their much weaker PU it most probably was not worth it.

I doubt the team that thought-up FTM and halo winglets would miss a seemingly more obvious “legality box” engineering possibility. Monaco is a big race for Leclerc and the team, and they brought a Monaco-specific rear-wing in either 2024 or 2025, if I remember correctly.

When weighing the potential downforce gains from such a design against their power deficit, already high downforce levels, and the FTM, my guess is that any gains would likely be diminishing returns.

Charles always keeps some time in his pocket for qualifying. Expecting a 1,2 for quali..with Charles on pole.

If Lewis out qualifies Charles here I think Charles will have a tough rest of the season, because that means Lewis is finally comfortable with the car and confident with what he can do with it.

According to Leclerc’s interview after fp2 he is having issues the breaks.

I think the real question is has it been the case since the start of the season or just post Canada.

If he has no confidence under breaking, he will likely be slower throughout the season, not just Monaco.

Keeping our feet on the ground but a good day. One thing is that we again didn’t progress as much on softs as other teams, which is pattern - I think it must be because the Ferrari is better at firing up the harder tyres and so there’s just less to gain there. I think come qualifying the advantage won’t be as big as it looked looked on the medium, unfortunately, but hopefully we’ll keep the edge.

Good to see even with the early results ferrari arent getting caught up in the "hype" and still looking to find more. Fred and both drivers pretty much said they still need to improve for quali day

Looking at how many times Lewis locked up in practice I think it's the same for both cars. You'd think Ferrari could sort something as fundamental as the braking by now.
